Haircut for Houston

Dad wanted to see Houston's ears again so we cut a few inches off his hair. He was super good for his haircut. However, Houston let out a loud shriek when he looked in the mirror and saw the results, I think he just didn't know what to do when he saw his ears. We can now also see his neck in the back too. Dad is optimistic that Houston won't be as out of control with a shorter haircut. Mom doesn't think it will make a difference at all.

Heros

The Unversity of Utah has a Veterans Day Commemoration Ceremony where they select Utah veterans to be honored in a special military service on November 11--one of the biggest college campus events of its kind in the US. They just happen to be honoring one of my very favorite WWII veteran, my Grandpa. I am greatful for all of the valiant veterans and current military men and women hard at work for our freedom today. I don't think veterans get the great thanks they deserve. On Wednesday my grandpa and 10 other veterans will be honered at the University of Utah. I am so proud and grateful for the sacrifice these men made.

Check out the link below to see one of my hero's my cute grandpa!

Our Jack-o-lantern!!!

I know it is a little late for Halloween, but I believe I have the cutest jack-o-lantern. Houston lost his first tooth Wednesday night at the Primary Program Practice. He did not like that there was a little blood involved, but when all the kids thought it was so cool he forgot about it. They thought he had lost two teeth. I am sure it is just a mater of a day or two before the next one comes out too.
