Ferry, Fort Boonesboro, and Dinner on the River

We had lots of fun with Christi and Kris, we took them on Clay's Ferry (no not my Clay's). It was a little ferry that took three cars across the Kentucky River at a time. We then headed down some backroads and ended up at Fort Boonesboro, brushed up on our Danial Boone/early American history. Caylor once again was the star of the day and helped make a turnkey, which is what we today call a screwdriver. We then had dinner outside by the river at a place called "Hall's on the River" they even served frog legs, but Kris and Clay were not feeling to brave thank goodness I don't know that I could handle watching someone eat frog legs. Houston also celebrated his birthday a little early with Christi and Kris he loved that he got some ice cream, while the rest of us watched. When then headed out and all had ice cream at Christi's favorite ice cream stop "Cold Stone" and yes Houston had some more ice cream too.
